Our Comprehensive Hearing Assessment and Real-World Technology Trials give patients the chance to experience the joy of hearing most suitable to their needs, their lifestyle and their budget. And once the Audiologist and patient decide on the best course of action, the Comprehensive Aftercare takes over.

Follow Up Appointments

It is quite common for minor adjustments to be need in the first few weeks. This is usually to gradually turn the hearing technology up to 100% of auditory prescription. As the brain receives more auditory signals, it adapts and gets used to the sound. On day one, the hearing technology is often set a little quieter, more acceptable level. This helps patients adapt, adjust and accept the hearing technology, whilst still getting the benefit of hearing well. Over the follow up appointments, the Audiologist will turn the hearing technology up to 100%.

It is important to check in with patients’ multiple times in these first few weeks, not only to ensure they have the best hearing experience, but also to train and educate on care and maintenance of their bespoke solutions.

Aftercare appointments

Once a patient is fully set up, the care doesn’t stop there. Patients can enjoy up to 4 years of complimentary aftercare appointments. Patients will receive 4 complimentary aftercare appointments as standard. These can be taken at any time, but usually we recommend seeing the patient every 6 or 12 months.

Further adjustments, cleaning and general care of the hearing technology will also be done in this time, so that the patient is always getting the best on their hearing journey.

Warranty and Reliability

Modern hearing technology is very reliable. The move towards rechargeable technology, better manufacturing processes and increased waterproofing means hearing technology rarely needs to be sent away for repair. However, to give patients peace of mind, with every purchase they receive a 2 year manufacturer warranty.

Hearing Sundries

Like many frames, hearing technology has a small number changeable parts, an example being wax filters. Whilst under the manufacture warranty, patients with Insight can get these sundry parts free of charge, making sure they are never without hearing.
