We offer a free Quick Hearing Test and a Comprehensive Hearing Assessment that costs £60.

No, we are only able to see 19 year olds and over. We advise anyone under the age of 19 to be seen via the NHS.

Hearing Aids

What Hearing Aids do you provide?

As an independent provider we are able to choose from any make or model of hearing aid that is best for your hearing. Our favourite manufacturer at Insight Hearing is Widex, due to their natural sound processing.

Depending on your individual requirements, prices are between £3500 and £5500 per pair.

Our Comprehensive Aftercare includes a 2-year manufacturers warranty and up to 4 years’ worth of Aftercare appointments.

Hearing Technology is very reliable. Patients usually upgrade every 3 – 5 years, based on the progression and advancements in technology and connectivity improvements.

Patients will get a Real World Technology trial, which means we can be very confident in a successful fitting. However, on the rare occasion a patient wishes to return the hearing aid, they can within the first 60 days after purchase, less an admin fee.

Hearing Technology is only as good as it has been programmed. At Insight Hearing we only employed fully Qualified Audiologists. The skills of the Audiologist in setting up the hearing aids initially and then fine tuning them over time with your feedback is highly valuable. Having an audiologist that you can work with and is local to you is essential to ensure your success.

Hearing aids are medical devices that undergo thousands of hours of research, development and testing before becoming available to the public. Hearing Aids require a medically trained audiologist to program them to suit your hearing and lifestyle as well as provide an ongoing backup service for the life of the instruments.

Hearing aids are fully adjustable as your hearing deteriorates.

This depends on the make, model and age of the hearing aid, but if we can we would love to take over a patients Audiological care.

No, but it may feel or sound strange.

Yes, we recommend using Earol for at least 3 days before the appointment. Earol penetrates deep into the wax so it’s an easier and more comfortable procedure.

As with any medical procedure there are some minor risks, as a fully qualified medical practitioner our audiologists will ensure that these risks are minimised.
